I have the titanium umpires helmet (model 5590?) but I figured I would take a chance on this as a back up. The helmet is exactly the same except the face mask is steel. Your view through the mask is exactly the same as well, as I confirmed after measuring.

I've seen the steel umpire model for ~$150. After weighing both, I found that the steel mask version is about .2 lbs heavier than the titanium model (very un-scientific method).

How do you like the 5590?  I just bought one new for $149.  It's going to arrive Tuesday.

Bam so you were the one that purchased the last one available on eBay.  Now they relisted it for $159.99

Wasn't complaining about resurrecting and old thread.  3rdGen wanted to know why the link came up blank, so just letting him know why that is the case.
