If the coach has already got it out for you, then you probably ought to have some help on the bases. Just make sure that parent/umpire knows that this is your field, and with that you're in charge. I do solo for softball, and I always find it much easier whenever I am fortunate enough to have a partner. It takes some of the pressure off when some of the plays can get extremely close.

Well it sounds like one heck of a summer. I just hope I have a kid that plays softball or baseball, that way I can officially start enjoying the games again.

Lol.....I figured that out after I shopped around. I really don't care. I needed the cleats most of all for a softball tournament in two weeks, and it was the only place I can find the wider sizes. I'm just praying that by going up a width my feet will quit hurting all of the time.

Ok, I just found out that I could have got them cheaper from ump-attire, but I'm still excited. The main emphasis on my excitement are my new cleats, which I have not been able to find in my size anywhere.

It's a cop-out answer that means I don't have my rule book on me right now, and there are so damn many rules to memorize to memorize them specifically by number, so you do the hard work. Haha!! :rollinglaugh:

I agree, chanting is a part of softball. It's kind of like the offenses version of, "hey batter, batter." You're going to see this all the way from Coach Pitch to the College level. They are going to chant, and a lot of time the parents are going to chant. Unless you can get the coaches to come to some sort of agreement on not chanting if one team is up by a lot, then you'll have to write a rule on the local level.
