  1. U missed his next post.
  2. Am I the only person who the "go to first unread post" is not working for on this damn thread?
  3. I agree.....but when you have the local "ground rules" that pick up what the book leaves out, there's really not much else you can do. You have to call them because there is doubtfully any rule in the book to supersede the local rule.
  4. Congrats th3 & NuBlue
  5. The warning/out routine is usually at a local level, so if your local organization calls for it, then you're right. In my case, the only rules we had were the ASA rules. In ADULT slow-pitch, I'm not going to risk mine or my catcher's health and only get an out. If it becomes a problem, I am taking care of the problem.
  6. Hell, I was sad they beat me to the punch!!
  7. Well, I won't lie, I only went there to see her ass......ets.....yeah, that's it. I will say she broke my heart when she announced her engagement at the concert.
  8. I am almost too that point (5 days left till I take the plunge), but am lucky because my aunt does jewelry repair.
  9. The only time you would really ever want to charge the coach with the conference is when there is a break in play. With the umpire getting hit, this causes a break in play, and therefore if the coach goes out to the mound he's going out with the break in play. Between innings there is no break in play being that play for that inning has yet to start. I just am wondering why the offensive coach is wanting to talk to the pitcher.
  10. Because you were too busy not following the ball!!
  11. Ouch.....at least you had one on!!
  12. You sure he didn't just do it because Tiger told him to? I mean, Tiger's never wrong!
  13. Ahh.....here is where we hit that gray area. Most kids in the younger groups want to use the broke bat because it is their bat. Others want to use it because it is the popular bat. You'll find that when you get in the upper leagues (especially in slow-pitch softball) that people want the "broken" bat because it is broken in, giving it more of a trampolene effect (that rattling sound you hear going on inside of a softball bat is actually deemed cracked, and therefore illegal).
  14. Haha....well thank heavens for microsoft excel to make our lives a little easier in the mean time!
  15. Man, this is starting to seem like a monthly occurence. Haha, j/k!
  16. But there's no place to hang your mask on it!
  17. J/c, but will is the wedding band one that can be repaired?
  18. I'm glad to hear you are ok.
  19. Not to mention that you'll start to feel a little clostrophobic (sp ck). I hope your IE started working for ya again. This would have never happened had you had firefox. , only kidding!
  20. I can now officially say I've taken my hardest shot to the shins..........during a slow pitch game........with a bat. Damn adults, when will they ever grow up?
  21. Screw the ribbed CP, buy a raft, and don't forget your mask hook!! Oh, and my all-time favorite, constantly refer to that little thing with the balls, strikes, and outs on it as a clicker.
  22. I agree with the above, and I am the last person you would expect to eject.
  23. Most leagues I do we don't sign the books at-all. In high school ball we do sign and number the books, but we do it before the game, that way we can get paid.
  24. See, that's similar to what my problem was, except I needed them in a much wider shoe. New Balance offered that for me, thus being my primary reason for the purchase of these shoes. I used the base shoe for my tournament this weekend. I honestly didn't have any problem, but they have only got a few miles put on them.
