    These are the ones I have. They can be a bit warm during the summer. I'm the only one in my association that wears the mock turtleneck. Im going to be trying out the honigs shirts this season

    You didn't happen to work a tournament out in Lake St. Louis in the spring of 1999? That was my very first games umpiring and my first game was with Zach.

    Thursday it is going to be 70 degrees here in St. Louis. Saturday I have a jamboree that they are using for evaluations... forecast for Saturday... High of 30, 1.5" of snow and winds 15-20mph. Wonderful

    Watching the UCSB vs UK game and Ump Attire's @Scott Kennedy Is working the plate in what appears to be a short sleeved jacket. This might be the first time I've seen this behind the plate.

    Makes contact with the fielder while fielding the ball but he is able to retire the Batter runner on the play.

    Then I would go black and white. I think, when taken care of properly, they look the best. You just have to clean them after every game

    You're going to get the Force 3 mask recommendations. I got the mids in black and white. Find out what the uniform requirements are as some states don't allow white

    I would say nothing... because I don't have anything until you have the ball in your hand or glove or the ball hits the ground.

    Do you expect anything else from a tournament company? Umpires are an expense... teams are income. Which would they rather keep happy?

    Maybe once a season do I get hit in the hands but those are on uncaught pitches if I'm doing youth ball. Most I take off the chest if I get hit.
