here's a sharp call from the game Here's the missed bangers, happened on consecutive batters IIRC :
-
yea, the system defaulted the quote to you , I didn't notice that when I was making the post
-
maybe ask about the rules understanding and not their feelings? facts don't care about feelings
-
over and over....
-
did you see the NJ/LA game today? 1BU had a rough time on consecutive bangers
-
gotcha
-
Are you reading the tournament rules? https://www.littleleague.org/downloads/tournament-rules-baseball/
-
your memory served you well

Long discussion here
-
I also say shame on the manager for not coming out to question the call
-
At the 8:35 mark, bases loaded, ball popped up.... thoughts?
-
I don’t think there was an appeal. I had it on as I was working, so I want totally focused, they showed a replay but not a challenge best I recall.
-
I realize rereading my post, the ball was far foul, I did not indicate that in my OP (edited and corrected) clip of the play added as well @grayhawk

This just happened in LLWS South Korea vs Venezuela. One out, R3, low pop up between thrid and home, in foul territory - near the dugout, F5 makes diving catch, both PU and U3 moved to cover the catch. R3 takes off for home, F5 makes heads up throw to F2, for a very close play at the plate, ball actually beats runner. No umpire at plate to cover the play. PU signals safe from about 15-20' away between home and thrid. Replay indicated that likely the right call, but PU is not in position to really make the call, so the question... On the play as described should U1 have rotated to cover plate when he sees PU vacate? found a clip of the play http://www.espn.com/video/clip?id=27400272

he's too slow to score on that ball
-
Molina standing on 3rd smacks himself in the head like "duh"
-
sorry that I wasn't clear, IIRC, LLI, wanted all called strikes using the hammer, on a called strike three, LLI was ok with some personality coming thru and using whatever signal mechanic the PU chose, IE - Chainsaw, etc..
-
LLI dictates the mechanics, IIRC from previous discussions on the board, all but the called 3rd strike is predetermined.
-
Prevents “gaming” the pitch count regs by walking one or more stronger hitters to get to a weaker hitter when F1 is near a break point in the days of rest pitch count
-
well you're from Florida so your excused...

also... welcome to 2017

Possible that the travel org has a rule about number of coaches? I know that Little League allows one HC and 1-2 AC depending on the roster, at least for future games you’d be able to clear out that dugout some.
