Hi everyone. It is starting to get to be time to officially decide on which pro school to go to and I am beginning to have some doubts on which one to attend. I am planning on attending one of the two just not sure which one. If grads of either school could PM me and tell me about their experience in the school and after it would be greatly appreciated. I have talked to a bunch of people about it but haven't heard many opinions of graduates of the schools. Thanks!

obstruction does not always end in base awards if the runner advances to the base that the umpire protects him to then the obstruction call is not enforced

I would see it as the run counting but I haven't seen anything concrete to justify it either way

The way I'm seeing it I'm calling the runner out for the BI and the batter is out on strikes. Definitely getting 2 on this

What would the proper mechanic be for signaling a D3K looking? I use the hammer style and realize at the upper levels it is not an issue because the catchers are better, but you never know with 10U and 12U catchers... I've read on here for a swinging drop 3rd strike but not sure if it would just be the same mechanic or not. Thanks!

Hello all, I have been reading the forums for a while now and finally decided to join. I am 18 years old and new to umpiring but excited to begin officiating games and am enjoying all I have learned from you guys so far... I am also planning on going to umpire school next year but not sure which one to choose. Thank you guys for the awesome forum!

1) it is not mentioned in the rule book because it was printed before the rule was in place so it depends on a local rule 2) Babe Ruth does not use courtesy runners 3) Babe Ruth uses an EP but it can be EH depending on local rules 4 and 5) there is no must slide rule but MC is still an auto EJ Hope this helps!
