I don't know about other States, but in Maryland there is no legal protection exclusion for volunteer "Athletic Officials" so you better have insurance to CYA. Maryland Statutes 5 - 802. :-(

Guys, I know this may seem like a rookie question, but I'm having a time adjusting my mask with these new TW pads! :-( The mask doesn't seem to "hang" properly like with my old Wilson pads. Any advise as to where the side harness straps would make a difference? . . . Upper or lower area of the ear piece? TIA :-)

Me too. I had a "coach" tell me during an LL championship game that he had been an Umpire for 30 years . . . after I had given him a warning for "conduct" (and that's putting it politely). Second time it occurred was an EJ without reservation. . . . and I told him to his face, you've "umpired" for 30 years? . . . then you should know the rules better! SJA :-)

FWIW, I wear UA heat gear compression leggings and wore the NB "Mongo" and the NB jock strap on the outside of the UA this season. Honestly, OI had no issues and frankly, before, during, and after the games, I had forgotten I even had it on and didn't realize it until I got home! I was very impressed with the comfort. PS . . . hope they make a "John Holmes" size soon . . . :-)
