The third out in question IS the abandonment. In the end, yes, that's how it was fixed. I'm taking about prior to R3 heading to the dugout, after the three outs were called. Isn’t that what runners do, once three outs are called? Isn’t it supposed to be a dead ball? If that’s the case, you can’t have abandonment. Should have been R3 back to third R1 is now R2, two outs, next batter.

Public or Private? My public school system takes at-least a month to receive checks for game fees, it sucks! Public. Both private and public schools take about a week or less. Its pretty cool! Wow, we have to wait until July to get paid for HS games, but then blam, a nice sized check

I dont like the word "must" in the choices but it seems clear what answer they are looking for to me. What is your issue with it? Using "must" on both B and C gave me pause as well. Since it can be done either way, I went with both B and C. That was the correct answer. Seems to me they should have used "may", but I look at this stuff too much from a legal perspective. It seemed a little "funny" to me too. The book says may and the test says must. I guess they are trying to throw people off? D is the correct answer though.
