  1. It may be this guy... looks like a sticker. This looks like a movie "hey blue!!! your fly's open!"
  2. Just tell'em your decision is covered under rule 9.01© :smachhead:
  3. The MSRP price is the price that Wilson sets in their catalog. No one sells at that price. I will agree that epic's return policy is a bit strict but they will work with you if possible. Last year I ordered the Wilson titanium mask from them (best deal going at the time $153) and they shipped a titanium mask with the black rubber coating. I called them up and told them I ordered the mask that was pictured on their website, not the one I received. They immediately issued a RMA and sent the correct mask out the next day with expedited 2nd day air shipping at no extra cost to me. Epic is not the place to "try-out" gear. They are like your local mom and pop sporting goods store that doesn’t like to do returns or accept checks :-) I would recommend you go to your local equipment store and try stuff on before ordering from epic If you want the best bang for your buck, go with the champion P-series chest protector. It comes in three lengths: the P200 at 17"; the P210 at 15"; and the P220 at 13". The Midwest ump did a review that can be found here: http://midwestump.blogspot.com/search?updated-max=2010-02-01T12%3A17%3A00-08%3A00&max-results=7

  6. Yeah he is "agressive" in the slot, He shouldn't have any problem seeing the outside pitch from there. Now he may need a cast after the game when he takes one off his hand :-) .
  7. I have about 3 versions of Honig's shirts. Some that date back to 2003 and are top quality! I have few shirts that I purchased back in 2007/2008 when they replaced the embroidered Honig's logo with the black patch. These were still great shirts with minor design changes. My most recent shirts I purchased in late December. I will say that the recent shirts are horrible compared to the shirts from recent years. I usually take an extra large in past honig shirts, this worked well for me for plate work and base work. The XL size in the new shirts fit like an XXL! I couldn't wear this shirt on the bases if I wanted to! The matterial is also diffrent. The material is stretchy and spongy. I also had numbers added to my shirts and the workman ship on the sewing was terrible at best. Part of the number was stitched part of it was not. I contacted Honigs and told them how disappointed I was in the product that now represents their business. So they are working to resolve their issue. My local sales rep did confirm that the shirts are no longer made in the USA. He also sounded like he was unhappy at this change.
  8. I also have S/M and it started out tight around the neck. (which is not a bad thing by the way) It will loosen up a bit as you wear it. But I like it much better than the Platinum I have.
  9. I simply inform both coaches at the plate meeting "one min in between innings after the first inning. It can either be spent on the field or in the dugout. So please hustle your players on and of the field" From Little League to college, I have never have had a problem with a coach on this after that statement.

  11. I say it all depends on how broad your shoulders are. I wear a 40-42R sport coat, By the chart, I should get the M-L (38-44). When I tried it on and slipped on of my umpire shirts over it, it made me look like I was a Linebacker :-). That was primarily because of how the big the shoulder caps are. So I tried on the Small and it was a perfect fit! It was even tighter in the neck area, which provides better collarbone protection. Check the difference in size between the Small and the M-L:
