834k3r Posted Friday at 06:41 PM Report Posted Friday at 06:41 PM A first for me: had to warn a field player (JV F6 in this case) and tell him to leave his sunglasses in the dugout because they were the Meta RayBans that can record video (1.6.3). Any of you seen them worn during games yet? 1 Quote
wolfe_man Posted Saturday at 01:47 PM Report Posted Saturday at 01:47 PM Not yet… I think/hope. I don’t know what they look like, so I can’t be sure. Quote
WIUMP Posted yesterday at 03:33 AM Report Posted yesterday at 03:33 AM I think a light comes on when they are recording. Maybe we have a few Gen-Zers on here who can confirm. Quote

I eagerly await the Insta/Snap/FB/Tik/What/X/etc. posting(s) that are sure to come of this, and you to get branded a killjoy. Happened (in)famously to me! And that was for a tiny "finch" camera on the visor of the batter's helmet! I'm surprised you didn't hear the "but they're prescription, Blue!! How's he supposed to see out there?! It's a safety thing, ain't it??" 1 Quote
SeeingEyeDog Posted 7 hours ago Report Posted 7 hours ago By the way, the light that indicates the glasses are recording? Yeah...that can be deactivated so that recordings can be made without the light being on. There is no provision that if the light is off, the glasses can be worn on the field. It's an electronic device and by rule it's not permitted to be on the field. ~Dawg Quote
