The bases were loaded on the walk-off hit. At the eight-second mark of the video, presumably R2 has touched 3rd. Anybody know if something unusual happened that might invite an appeal? Is there any other reason U3 would still be standing there?

Waiting on U1 and U2 to cross the diamond and join up the fourship? Standing by to report on postgame dustups in the meantime?

Interesting question . . . Do you stand there and wait for your partner if you are near the exit?

I won't say I do it all the time, but I walk towards my partner and meet them part of the way, then walk back with them.  Could be because I have had to try to corral Social Smitty and Fence Friend Freddie too many times.
