Just out of curiosity, and I mean this sincerely because I'm not getting it. What is the significance of this post?

She settled out of court, and she's not the only female umpire to file suit against MLB, or whomever runs/ran the umpire program.

According to this article, there were others. Seems like most settled out of court with terms not disclosed.

At a minimum it provides us reference that between Postema and Pawol Managers have quit trying to kiss the umpire at the plate meeting or unabashedly calling them a c***.

Personally, as a lawyer adjacent type & with a friend's daughter who is now in A ball, I found the OP court document interesting. It's not something I would have gone out of my way to find or likely come across otherwise.

Yeah, anyone could figure that out. That should have never happened, but what, we didn't know that SH*# won't fly today?

The OP is an old article that doesn't shed any more light on the situation. I'm just curious if there is a larger point wanting to be made, or something else. It's just not very remarkable.

much like under the books section on 'you got to have balls to play this game' posted on here in 2011 (not by me) to let people who would like to see the book mentioned back in that post, and mainly from the historical prospective info from the court case. if no one wants to look at it, that is fine too. also like the court cases i posted back in 2011 on the same book page from 2011 under eric gregg on the court case from the 1999 mass resignation situation. not sure all the links even work anymore. or the court papers if i find them from umpire assaults. or the ed hickox court situation concerning the bucket he was using. or the court papers to the joe west, loduca situation if i find them, i will post. just like some might find retrosheet interesting and others may not give a sh, oops crap.

I find many different subjects interesting as well. I had forgot about that book, and it did pique my interest a bit. Anyway, I was just wondering if I was missing something in the post and I do like anything for personal enrichment. I do appreciate the many interesting articles, etc that you post.
