I’ve called NAIA and JuCo games (get real, D3 is the same boat 🛶) where the scorekeeper is at a table behind the chain-link backstop, and it’s a crapshoot as to if the scoreboard works or not.

I mentioned it to a coach who is getting a visible clock installed for the coming season and it literally never occurred to him.
