My trusty NB 450s / Question

Well, ...I've had these bad boys since 2011 or so.  I've had a sole fix and a met place attachment point fix, and now ... I have another issue and wondering if anyone has had this happen and is it fixable?  (Yes, I should get a new pair, but these are still in great shape and so comfortable).

One of the fabric eyelets under the met plate finally gave way.  Is this fixable?  If so, what did you have done?

OK, so then serious (if we have to)... Is it *just* the eyelet that's broken, or did the fabric the eyelet is in tear as well. I know JoAnn's has eyelet fix/replacement kits, but those won't work if the fabric is toast.

Yeah, fabric loop tore ....I was thinking a cobbler could replace the loops with real eyelets

Take them to a shoe repair place. Cobblers are magicians. 

The 450 is the best plate shoe to date, and I've had them, and all the revisions that have followed. Real leather, real steel toes. Not the plastic garbage we put up with now. 

The 450 were a HUGE step forward from the +POS oxfords we all wore before. Sure the 460's are a bit lighter, but that's about it.

that's what I'm going to do.  Have all the "loops" replaced with standard eyelets.  Thanks all!
