The top pad is the same, the bottom pad is much bigger on the Mag.

Where are you reading the S7 is supposed to be worn with a skullcap? Both the FM4000 steel and mag were out for years before the Cobalt skull cap came out. Are they better with the skull cap, yes, but so is every mask on the market.
