I've had a Delta Flex on my Force 3 V1 for a year now and have been dealing with my CP slipping all Year. With the straps cut and adjusted to as tight as possible it's still slightly too big. Has anyone experienced the Force 3 replacement straps and can tell me whether or not they'll go tighter? Going to camps and having to adjust my CP every other pitch is not a good look.

As you, I had the Delta-Flex on my Force3 V1 cp. As soon as the new version of the Force3 harness came out I ordered mine. The difference is day and night. Longer straps than the Delta Flex makes up for a better fitting of the cp. With the Delta Flex sometimes I felt suffocated, not at all with the new Force3 harness.

Razzer also has his version of a chest protector replacement harness. But what is holding me to get one of his is the price point. I paid $19.99 plus shipping for the Force3 and with all that was cheaper than Razzer's. Hope this info helped you and good luck at camp.

My problem with the Delta Flex on the F3v1 was that the base of the triangle of the "delta" is so wide that I couldn't tighten the straps enough to get the CP to hug to my torso.  The F3v1 has little clip extensions that make this problem worse, so I cut those out and it helped a lot.  Sounds like you may have the same problem?

Or you could be a fat boy and never have to adjust the Force 3.  I used the delta flex on my V1 and had no issues.  Using the stock harness on V2 and it works great.  Force 3 did a good job.

It took me a long time to get the V2 adjusted right. I'd pull it tighter, week or two later, slipping, pull it tighter, and so on.

Finally, about 6 weeks ago, I adjusted it really high, and it rubbed me for a game on the neck, and has been absolutely perfect fit ever since. I was having issues with the shoulder pads being off and took a couple off my right trap, no longer have this issue.

So with the V2, just keep adjusting it tighter, until it's perfect. Go tighter than you think it should be, just like the mask.

Sounds like my same problem. I'm ordering the F3 version on Monday!

I now have the F3 version but can't seem to get it tight enough either. Mind posting a pic of the modification you made showing the "clip extensions" you cut? I don't need to be making adjustments throughout games and this doesn't seem much better than the Delta that I have.

When you say "F3 version," do you mean the V2 with the new harness?  The modification I made was to the V1 which had the extension that prevented me from getting the Delta Flex tight enough.  With the V2 and it's standard harness, I am easily able to get it tight enough since the base of the piece on the back isn't as wide as the Delta Flex triangle.

I meant the V1 with new harness. I've also cut the extensions you speak of. I thought you meant something on the harness. I'll play around with it later but I need a SNUG fit.

If you took off the extensions, I would think you should have no problem getting a very snug fit.
