Explanation of Plays

The TV broadcasters for my very own Seattle Mariners are saying the crew chief should have a mic like NFL refs do to offer explanations (sparked by the out on the HR in Miami)........ thoughts?

Could probably have an intern/stat guy that knows the rules and could say "hey, this is the ruling"

I think it's going to happen. Just a gut feeling. I'm hearing more and more people calling for some sort of explanation......Especially on reviews.. Explain what exactly was being reviewed, was the call on the play confirmed, or "inconclusive".

I had a partner a few weeks ago that didn't need a mike. He announce LOUDLY all kinds of stuff that had me cringing (and chuckling).

Here we go. He passed the effin runner. He's out. Luckily, it wasn't the third out or I would have to splain more. Do I get the job?  Or can we go to post game.
