The stats say that Dutch Dalton, John Kruk and Dystra had a career base on balls year and were all very patient in that one pennant year of 1993 only. All had over 100 walks, and Dykstra did lead the league that year in walks and also had 600+ at bats. National League pitching in 1993 was horrendous with 7100 walks for that year as compared to 5700 in 1992 and 5100 in 1994. And the most games he played in for the next 3 years during any one season was 89, so he never led the league again.

Dykstra also had one minor league year, 1983, with over 100 walks.
