Wasn't there a MLB play where the RF kicked the ball back into the infield to make a play?  Might have been Paul O'Neill?

Yes, it was Paul O'Neill in a game played between the Reds and Phillies on July 5, 1989. O'Neill actually made a beautiful drop kick from right field to his first baseman which held the game winning run at third. Unfortunately, for the Reds and O'Neill the game was lost a couple batters later on a passed ball--I think. You can find video of this odd play by going to MLB videos and searching the tag words of Paul O'Neill and oddities.
