He took one off the mask in Detroit about a week, 10 days ago that rattled his fillings, too.  He was to the right of F2 for that one.  No bueno...

Lucky me...I've never been hit by a foul tip. (You would think MLB would use the correct terms in titling their videos. Is that asking too much??)

I was there that night as well as the following day. There was a replacement for him at 3B. Hope he is OK.

​I think that's standard practice now: same as the players, the umpires have a 7-day concussion DL for precautionary reasons.
