His mask didn't fly/twist/fall off like it's supposed to.   He needs a Davey Strap!!!

I don't keep track too much of umpires leaving the game, but it does seem as if they're taking more precautionary measures in recent seasons. Is this true? 

 

I think it's a good thing, honestly, as safety is paramount in these days.

Big shot, right off the Wilson logo. Mask didn't fly because it was a direct shot to the chin. On the slo-mo from the side, that ask had a huge rebound after the hit.

That has concussion written all over it.

It seems as though he set up much further over the plate than a typical slot position. I have been in instructional situations where clinicians have suggested moving with F2 and I have resisted moving. This seems to be a great example of why one should not venture away from the slot.
