I know this has been discussed before, and I went back through the posts from years past. My question is are there any "new or updated" 2015 changes to the ABUA or NASO insurance policies that make one better to have than the other? I'm aware that one is just baseball ($) and the other is multiple sports ($$).

Thanks for any input!

With NASO you receive Referee magazine, I'm always looking forward to my monthly edition coming in the mail.

I have ABUA Premium membership and that makes me have no deductibles if I make a claim.

Referee adds almost no value to anything. It's poorly written, weakly edited, banal and trite, and contains at least one erroneous ruling per issue in almost every sport it covers. Classic instance of more trouble than it's worth.

Not a fan.

Just FYI, I called ABUA for 3 days, left msgs, and emailed. Not one time did I speak with anyone in the "membership dept.", nor has anyone called, or emailed me back. If I can't rely on a return contact, why would I think they'd be there if I needed them for insurance purposes? I think I'll stick with NASO.

This is my concern about a ABUA membership. For those that have ABUA insurance, what documentation do you have that states that you have an insurance policy ? Or do you get documentation of a policy from the insurance carrier ?
