I found this site a few days ago, and after reading through many posts I decided to officially register.

 

I am currently 21. I started umpiring an in-house league at the age of 13. I then got certified by Big Apple Umpires when I was 16. 8 years as an umpire, and I am always learning new things.

Welcome. Have you ever heard of AFU? I used to belong to that association when I lived in NY. They are a good bunch of guys and can get you soem good training and high quality games.

@ERW27 I have indeed heard of AFU. I know some fellow umpires who umpire for AFU as well. I am still attending college so I'm sticking with one organization (Big Apple Umpires) for now. They always keep me busy so I have no complaints at all. Down the road I will definitely look to expand.
