Today in the USA, we remember those who have served honorably and have lost their lives either on the field of battle or in the battle of life.

Who are you especially remembering this Memorial Day?

I am remembering both of my grandfathers who served in World War II.

And to all who have served, thank you.

My father, and all my grandfathers going back to the American Revolution.......and my daughter and son in law currently serving in the US Army......My grandfather called the cavalry "the family business"...........

Lost his life to cancer in 1955

My father who served in the Navy during WWII and passed away a few years ago

Thanks to all who have served and given the ultimate sacrifice!

Thankfully I am still able to have a drink with my father in law, private first class Norbert Eugene Murphy, World War 2 Purple Heart
