technically two steps to home, but no matter.   No advantage, no deception, and still delivered once he was committed.

The upper body motion is continuous and the free foot only goes towards the plate (albeit twice).  I have funky but legal.

Only took a couple of looks at that pitch - and the angle doesn't help a whole lot - but I wonder if instead of two steps, its really just raising the leg up and lowering it close to the ground then "sliding" forward for the actual step.

It's not two steps. The foot doesn't touch the ground in the first lowering motion. Funky but legal. Not a booger worth picking.
