After several years working in the same associations with @mw94, we finally got to work a game together this afternoon. It was a low-key, JHS Varsity game. Had a good time!

The best part was after the game, Marc asked me why I was drifitng backward on double plays from "B" after I rotated to the bag..... It's something I never noticed I did and nobody ever mentioned it to me.

Glad I can now work on breaking a bad habit.....

I drift backwards as well because I feel it gives me a better angle to get a look at a possible pulled foot at first on the return throw.  Is this not a desirable mechanic?

It depends on when you are drifting, but yes you should move a little after the play at second and before the play at first.

I have worked with @JHSump when we were in the same association (before I left the Commonwealth for taxlandia).

Mike Taylor and I were going to try to work a game together this summer (I was even going to invite him to work with our association during one of our two big tourneys that require everyone plus people), but unfortunately, fate stepped in. RIP MST.

I worked a game with @805BLUEsaysTWOOO tonight. One of our rare 2 man games-only my 11th game on the bases out of 200+ career games. We were awesome, like you'd expect.
