I'm not surprised: The same stripes on the Majestic shirts are wide anyway.

The stripes are much wider then the normal majestic. But, I'm not sure that anyone would really notice that much, a lot of the times you can't see the stripes when compared to the traditional polos.

IMHO, navy never looks good on umpires.

The backseat of my truck looks like a frikken' Wal-Mart, with Blue (4 kinds!), Black, Cream, White, and Gray! Now you want me to buy another Black! Enough Already! This will Never Stop! MLB will come up with some new kind of shirt, and everybody will rush to buy one.. Except Me!!! I'll wear these until they wear out: Period.

I just don't like the MLB style shirts, not in the Majestic version and not the OC version. They are just ugly.

I did wear another umpire's OC black jacket the other night and it was really nice. Much better fit and quality than my black Smitty jacket that I usually wear. I would get one but they don't carry jackets of any kind anymore.
