Carl Childress has been adamant about the same thing for quite a while. The only question is whether the long sleeves should match you're shirt or your complexion.

My non-baseball work involves being outside about 297% of the time, and they've started doing annual skin checks to avoid big workers compensation claims. I found out I have Type 1 skin, also known as "most likely to spontaneously combust", which isn't too surprising given the history of skin cancers on both sides of the family tree.

Our shirts aren't blanks, but are bought through the association, and long sleeve options aren't available. Given I'm so easily at risk of skin cancers, in the part of the world with the highest rate of skin cancer in the world, I'm taking health over look.

It's just too easy for me to either be distracted by other things or have too little time to get things done between games, or for a game to go long in humid weather and just sweat the stuff off, or miss some bit of skin with the sunscreen.

Besides, if I do a good enough job on the field, anyone who has issue with the look at the start of the game should forget about it by the end.
