Ok guys I'm at the field , stuck in a rain delay and I wanted to get some input on a play I saw this morning.

R1 with 0 outs

Br hits a ground ball to f 4

The ball rolls up his body and into his jersey.

Whatcha got !?

PBUC Manual 6.10 says, "If a batted or thrown ball inadvertently goes inside a player’s or coach’s uniform (or lodges in the catcher’s face mask or paraphernalia), the umpire shall call “Time.†He will, using common sense and fair play, place all runners in such a manner that will nullify the action of the ball going out of play. Any outs recorded prior to the ball going into the player’s or coach’s uniform (or lodges in the catcher’s face mask or paraphernalia) will stand."

great thread (seriously).  Someone gives the resutl, someone else gives the reason (OBR) and then a follow up with the FED difference (and NCAA, even though the effect is the same as pro).  Close it now and put it up as an example of how all threads should be.
