^The above plot is not normalized, so it shows the pitch as in the "average batter's" strike zone (sz_top of 3.50). DeJesus's top of the strike zone is several inches lower than the "average" (sz_top 3.24). Move the top of the strike zone's line down to the 3.24 mark on the y-axis and Pitch #4 (pz 3.438) will appear outside of the strike zone by more than the system's margin of error.
