Last night , in a 14u gme , the home team scored 17 runs in the bottom of the 1st , 13 before an out was made . Catcher had never caught before and pitcher , the normal catcher , had never pitched before ! Home team was still stealing and going home on wild pitches , even after they were up 10 runs . Ended up being a 3 inning 2 hour time limit game . I wanted to strangle the coaches and felt sorry for the players .

Had one like this a few weeks ago - VT scored 17 (I think) in the top of the 1st.  They batted around 2+ times.  When the leadoff hitter came up in the top of the 2nd I asked him how many times he had already batted, he said twice and now he was batting from the other side.  FInal score 38-0 (4 inning 10-run mercy rule).  Good news is HT never had more than 5 batters in any inning so we were off the field in about 1:20.

25-6 . HTC stopped running when I stopped him on the way back from third and had a little talk with him about basebal etiquette .

I had one similar where it was 30 to 0 after the top of the first. The home team pulled his team off the field after the bottom of the second with it being 44 to nothing.

Wow.  I had one that was 20-0 after the first half-inning.  It ended at 32-5 after 5 innings.  This was a HS varsity game.

But, your's tops that!

Had one yesterday that was 21-1 in favor of the HT. HT stopped stealing and taking extra bases after the first inning. HT had R3 walk home in the 4th to try and end the inning and VT failed to apply the tag. R3 even stepped over the plate, but no appeal. VT managed to figure out that play in the next 2 innings or the game would have gone over 3 hours. Mercy rule should be mandatory after 2 hours (currently up to the losing team to accept).

My team won 32-0 once after 2 innings.  We were HT.  We played defense, came in and hit... I pulled my starters in the bottom of the 1st.  All of my subs ended up getting an at-bat in the bottom of the 1st -- We had 16 players, so I left my pitcher and catcher in the game.
