Wonder if we wore the same helmet (an all black one) like the catcher and put the bill of the helmet in front, would that help? So, instead of a billed hat, it would be a billed helmet. With all the backswings it might help in that situation also. Maybe even the LL helmet with the mask. Would be an alternative to the bucket. Kind of a halfway point.

Even though this is a very and I mean very important subject.

I couldn't pass many of these tests, without ever being hit in the head. Maybe I was dropped on my head several times as a child.

I have a hard time with the nose touch when I am sober as well as walking a perfect straight line. I think I would flunk those test's perfectly sober if pulled over by an officer of the law even though I would test negative for any foreign substances. Sad.

As a former HS football coach, I'm very familiar with the imPACT testing that is used in MLB, NHL, and NFL.  It's not about passing the test in a traditional sense.  Each player has to take a baseline test at the beginning of each season.  If he receives a concussion, he must re-test and reach his baseline before being clear.  It measures many different cognitive functions, and if a player remains below his baseline in any area, he cannot return.

Each test is individualized, so a player only needs to reach his own baseline to be cleared to return.
