I like having quick access to the rules whenever, wherever I am. I always have my phone with me, but I don't always carry a rule book. If I'm bored at work or I just have something to look up, it's very convenient. I may not need the app, but I like to have it. Doesn't make me a "dummy." I just like being able to have access to it at a moment's notice. Plus my 8 month old Jack Russel/Chihuahua mix ate my hard copy. That kinda forced my hand too....

I apologize for using the term "dummies", btw.  Just because I don't understand someone's motivation doesn't make them a "dummy".

It's all good. I was just merely pointing out that the reason I have the app isn't because I'm too lazy to pick up a book, I just like having it on me whenever I need/want it.

i know im late to this party, but i havent purchased the app with the reasoning being that i still ENJOY (yes ENJOY) physically reading the book. its not that i am against technology in any way but i just have no intereste in purchasing it.

I like the idea. However, since I work for two different associations in two different states, I have to pay two completely seperate dues. Both of which come with the books. If NFHS decides to do like the NCAA does with the arbiter then I would buy the app. But before then, I don't think I will have it on my phone/tablet.
