R1, R2. B3 bunts the ball that lands directly in front of home plate. F2 has fielded the weak bunt and is in the act of throwing to 2nd base to start double play when B3 pushes the catcher in the back. The ball going into centerfield with R2 easily scoring and R1 advancing to 3rd base.

a. immediate dead ball. R1 and batter are both out for batter's int. R2 returned to 2nd base.

b. immediate dead ball. R2 and batter are both out for batter's int. R1 returned to 1st base.

There was another choice - The play stands since both players were doing what they were supposed to be doing.

I read it as interference by B3 since he pushed F2 in the back.

There were No outs.

I chose B. I'm looking forward to reviewing the test tomorrow. I got an 88 I'm curious which 7 I missed.

Now that I've researched it, I believe it would be B.  Both the batter and runner that is closest to home regardless of who the play was being made

Thats correct and what they were trying to test.  If the BR interferes intentionally then BR is out plust the runner closest to home.  If another runner interferes then its the runner and the batterrunner.

Thunder has to be like :censored:  :wow:   :banghead::FIRE::eek::big_no:smachhead: with the NCAA questions.

Why?  It s the college section so talk about what is happneing on copllege ball right now.  It sure beats the heck ouot of another post on which shoes to buy or exactly what shade of white your supply bucket should be or who played what musical instrument.  Insert those rant icons here.

Guys I don't know if the OP copied and pasted the question word-for-word, but my question said that F2 tagged B3 before throwing to second base.  That would mean B3 is already out anyway, and then you have to get an out for INT,  which would be R2.  Maybe there were two different questions?  Seems silly if so since they were so close to being the same play.

R1, R2, no outs. B3 bunts the ball directly in front of the home plate in fair territory. F2 grabs the ball and tags B3. As the catcher begins his throw towards third base, B3 pushes F2 and his throw goes into left field. Both base runners advance two bases.

Yes -- there are two similar questions but slightly different.  In yours the batter is out, R2 is out and other runners return.
