Gentlemen

I have changed associations this year and the new one uses arbitersports, a site I am unfamiliar with as my past association used zebraware. I am looking for any tips tricks or other tidbits that would make using arbiter easier in this first year.

Whilst I am at it has anyone had any dealings with All Around Sports? I need some new caps and 9.95 ea seems pretty attractive.

Arbiter is pretty cut and dried. Accept/decline/block. Pretty simple to navigate. Never heard of those hats.

I would highly recommend purchasing the arbiter sports mobile app as well. Only about $6 and simplifies the website on your smartphone. Gives you quick access to your schedule, field location, partners, and cancellations all in a quick smooth format.

As for Richardson hats, I found them for $7 at epic sports' website.

The app is an annual fee, but well worth it.  You can do just about anything on the app that you can do online....and you always have your schedule with you.

I like the app but it is not always accurate.

Right if I go to the full site it shows all my partners. If I go to the app some of my partners are showing as pending.

Because they haven't accepted the assignment yet.

If you don't have a smartphone, do what I do: get a gmail.com account and set a filter that forwards all Arbiter emails to your cell phone's email address. I get the exact same information I'd get with the app -- for free.

As for tips and tricks, there used to be a way to see your partner before you accepted the game. It required viewing the schedule in a different mode; however, I noticed the backdoor was gone last year. I don't know if it was an Arbiter thing or a setting my organization changed, but I can't do it anymore.
