I'm a LSU grad and big fan of the program. They are sponsored by Easton and our catchers have worn an Easton mask w/ silver frame and black pads last year and I have seen them wear it this year in scrimmages. I have searched the internet empty handed and was curious if anyone had info on Easton's non HSM?

I looked on Easton's website and they don't show a mask, just helmets. Maybe it was some other brand??? Diamond perhaps???

No this mask is much like the Nike Titanium mask. Easton only has this mask out to their Athletes. I know an umpire who uses it. But good luck finding one in the general public.

That is what I heard as well. Just get a Wiilson or All-star Ti frame and some Easton pads and you will look just like an Lsu catcher.

Yes these are only avaliable directly to NCAA teams and pro catchers who uses Easton in their contract. Often the catchers give them away and thats how guys aquire them. I had one and liked it. They are hard to aquire.

I bought this mask and I'm anxious to see how it looks and feels. I have held one before and I know they are super light.

I got the mask the other day and I really like it. The throat guard doesn't protrude out as far as my Wilson titanium, but it does go down as far. I am a little worried about that, but I think I will manage. The pads are really nice but the bottom pad has the white Easton logo on it and the harness has it too. I may either use them and black the logos out or just use my leather Honigs pads.
