New New Balance Base Shoes Are Out

Hey Guys,

Thought you all would be interested to know that New Balance has come out with their new all-black base shoes. They are available in low and mid cut.

New Balance had requested that we (and I suppose every one else) hold off in announcing this until 12/1. I've known about them since September.

I know that some were disappointed that New Balance discontinued making the MU350s (you'll still find them). But some are also probably excited the white "N". One thing it is not is it's not the same shoe but with just an added black "N". The shoe is based on the 995 athletic shoe you may or may not have seen elsewhere... probably more different in the sole than anywhere.

I certainly like these better than the original picture I saw with the white soles. And my concern about the high-gloss/patent leather combo is a little more at ease. I was never too concerned with the white N on the 350's, and I've actually grown to like the white N on the 450's. You know being new balance the quality is going to be great.

From what I see in the pictures, I need to stock up on 350's real quick. Those things are down right butt ugly.
