Silver mask w/ tan pads

I have seen a few umpires with silvers masks and tan pads lately. I can't decide if I like it or not. What do you all think?

I thought about doing this but regressed and went with the black Wilson wrap arounds. I like the look. Never had tan pads but am willing to try the look with the right setup.

I'm putting tan TW on my flat black frame. I have black tws on my silver frame. I like the contrast

Old school here. I have black TW's on my black Honigs's frame. The tan/silver is a little too light for me. To each his own.

I'm getting my magnesium mask powder coated right now.  Trying to get them to do a flat dark gray (think gun metal gray).  If they can I'll get tan pads.  Also, if they do a good job I'll pass along their info.  They say they can do it for $25 with shipping/handling.

The people who do my PC normally charge $15. Super cheap. Of course they're local, so no shipping. Sounds like Mid has a good hookup as well.

I have both of my Nike masks with TW pads.  One with black the other with tan.

Two masks. Wilson Titanium with old school (original shape) Wilson black leather pads- wear with black shirts and navy blue when doing HS that requires blue.

 

Diamond silver with old school (original shape) Wilson tan doeskin pads- wear with the polo blue shirts and cream.  Think hot summer days trying to deflect (not draw) any more heat to my face or body.  Even at night.

 

I did not like it at first.  Still don't like tan (almost orange) wraparounds with the silver masks.  I like mine as they are very light, almost white, tan.  Wilson MLB original shape I have had since 2006 and still going strong.

 

I know, I know- some of you will say old, won't protect, concussion coming, etc., etc.  I wear my mask straps so loose that I take any hit to the mask and just watch/feel the mask spin off my head and absorb all that negative energy.  Never felt a thing.  Ever.  I will stick with my old leather pads and loose straps for now.
