It looks like a gold, but it could be camo-d ..... looks sort of like a prototype to me .... but, when CB is squatting down, the back of his shirt doesn't reflect a delta flex ...

I am sure it was a Gold or Platinum, which is probably why the ball found the collarbone.

Jax I have noticed a few that only wear one.

Ugly shot....hope he is OK. I've taken two off of the chest of my all-star now and haven't felt a thing. Hoping not to take one off the collar bone to see how well the protection works.

In MLB there are a few that only wear one, but remember they only have to hold up a few fingers and will get replenished almost immediately.

I personally like the ability to carry as many baseballs as they will give me as well as the balanced look of wearing two bags.

I took a bouncer right into my allstar just above the logo in a 16u game tonight. I surely felt it but had no pain, just pressure, it would have been very painful if I didn't have a CP that is tight and properly adjusted to protect the collar bone.

It's different in the show when there's a ball boy just waiting to bring your more baseball as the wave of a finger(s).

Remember guys...he got hit with a 92mph fastball right in the collarbone area.

No practical gear will make that a pain free shot. No matter what, you're going to feel it.

I guess in my mind, the CP worked. He stayed in the game.

No matter the CP, I think this is a sales pitch for any hard shell CP.

In that area, you're going to feel it. The Joe West clip from a few years ago, was center mass, a completely different shot.

95 mph on the West hit...but it was center mass. Completely different.

It's from this Friday, his collar bone was covered but with a 90+ fastball it had to inflict a good dose of pain in any chest protector.

Just because it has a "W" on it, doesn't meant it's a Wilson ...that's why I'm asking ....if you look at CB closely just before the video is over when he's talking to Avila, you can see some writing or something white above the TOP of the "W"...

And the Gold's are black unless this is a new model of a Gold that is gray. The Platinums have that pad below the neck line...at least the old ones do.
