You're probably right, but I have seen several Platinums go for well under $100 the last few weeks. You never know. This one is pretty beat up, but would work wonders for a new umpire who wants TOP shelf gear.

I got my Gold from Gerry Davis when he had a sale on the older versions for $100 with the WV on it before Wilson put the W on the chest (and long before they decided to have both the W and the WV on it). It has served me well for just over 10 years. Thinking of replacing it but dont have the money.
