I picked up a can of Armor All leather wipes for car seats. Use them right after a game and then touch up with baby wipes before the next. Paste polish once a month and before I put them away for the winter.

Remember, when you shine your shoes with polish, toes and heels only. The sides will crack and look like sh!t.

I go the Murphy's Oil and cheap hair spray route. I agree with Jocko on where to apply even with this technique. If go to far to the side with it I tend to squeak when the shoes rub against my Wilson shins.
