Man, looks like a great call. Yeah, it appeared as though he chunked his slide. Kind of like my golf swing.

Head down and swing easy! :P

Great call. You can see air between his foot and the base and the back of F5's glove is touching the runners's shin in that still shot a couple of posts up.

Leyland is a rat and would argue with a fence post.

Yep, you can see the mitt move then the pressure of hitting the base right after ....wow ....

And yes, ....he's the most irrational arguer, ....and I'd have to agree he's a rat,...but a first place rat!!:beerbang

OK, All together now....... LELAND'S AN IDIOT! :cheers:

You know all the MLB umpires I have gotten to talk to, really like Jim.. cause he keeps it on the field, the next day is a new day.

I worked for one guy and with another that were great guys off the field. Put them inside the fences and they turned into raging jerks. Being a good guy has nothing to do with the emotions displayed on the field.
