I was searching around the web and saw that Plus Pos has, what looks like a titanium version (color) of the magnesium. I was wondering what you thought about it. I kinda like the way it looks but i don't know if it's as good as the champ pro version.

The Champro magnesium frame is about as good as it gets. Very light, and very stout.

Hi there;

Just received my +pos Mag. mask on Saturday after using the Wilson Lite mask for the past two years. I decided on this mask due to it's advertised weight, 15 oz, and cost,( 80 ) plus it isn't a low profile mask so if that is what you are looking for than don't buy this one. This mask is MUCH lighter than my Wilson and I felt that my vision was much improved.

Let me say WOW! What a difference in weight and ease of use. The pads are a bit smaller so I may change them out in the future for the quick dry ones but for now I give the +pos an A.

I did an 11U aau double header Sunday a.m. Had the dish 1st and was impressed with everything about this mask. No head shots yet so that may change the A rating but for now it's real nice to have a lightweight mask. The harness was easy to use and adjust, basically pre broken in.

I know there are other Mask's out there that are light but this one is Really light and I like it! ( so far anyway )

Hope this helps.

A lot of the Wilson titanium's weight comes from the pads. The Wilson wrap-around pads are very heavy.

Yep. I noticed a huge weight difference after adding All Star pads for this season.

I held and played with the Champro Magnesium mask and was really impressed with both the weight and strength.

I love mine. Yes the Wilson pads add weight but it is still a light, strong and comfortable rig to wear. I have a couple of bent bars on mine but they were direct hits that knocked the mask off. The only issue I have had with mine has been corrosion. Sometimes it get put in my gear bag and it is still wet from a game. I sanded the paint and brushed off the corrosion then applied a high temp flat black paint...seems to be keeping it at bay. I may look at the All Star system 7 helmet for next year...not because the Champro left me unprotected...but I have been kicking around the bucket idea for about 2 seasons now.
