i use Windex after a DUSTY game and finish off with a dry cloth. If it is muddy i will scrub off all dirt and add just a bit of polish. If you buy a good shoe like the 450 you can spend less time polishing and more time drinking

I have worn the Wv hand me down and didnt cover my ribs because I am 6'1 so I switched to the champion 15 inch in my 2nd season hit in the belly and boy did it sting. I sold my champ to my assoc and ordered the 17. In my opinion because of the liner it cleans up well. The hand me down WV it had salt stains but withthe removable padding that enabled you remove and wash but I could never put it back on right. I AM POOR And for the price of the champion you can't go wrong

boo hoo my NB450 plate shoe is covered with the trade mark N it stands for no big deal and the Mask has the W logo which means IT is a quality item. On the bright side my nurry buddy and chest protector has logos but nobody sees them. I say dude wear the quality LOGOS and wear them proudly

my season is over on 7/2 for the year not too many summer leagues in Tacoma unless tournament play . I work at a golf club and it is impossible to skip out on the weekends. I work for a small association travel less than 5 miles. The teams in our league are travel teams prepping for tournaments it is not a rat league. We do have a association in our area but I refuse to pay someone for assigning me work . The assignor I would take a bullet for and I always get the top games nearly every night.

what about minor and MLB?

Just curious I work lower level competitive 12 about a 15 game season. I make 35 bucks a game no travel pay. Can anyone tell me what the big boys make because of health reasons I will never move up. I can take the 6o mph dings and that is about it. So please tell me how rich i COULD BE

:banghead: I want to start this by saying I had my worst game ever last night and get this no complaints from the coaches. It was a long day topped off being stuck in traffic but made it there with plenty of time. In the first inning a loudmouth from the OT complained about a strike hitting the dirt. Then a jagmo sitting behind the dish bitched about a low pitch in the dirt a called strike and the next pitch hit the dirt called a ball and she said it was the same location. I stop the game and tell the coach to remove her i was boiling f ing mad at this point. He came back and said if she continues boot her. I couldn't do that because she already got to me (sorry MRS Luna for using got teacher jr high) under my skin. A couple innings later a banger at third right in front of their fans the kid put the tag high I sell the call a booming SAFE and you could hear all the pissing and moaning in North Carolina. After the inning the third base coach tells me I was right and the DC tells his kid to apply the tag lower next time. I could write a book about this game I ring a kid up on strike 2 and now I am the village idiot.The very next batter I said there is 2 outs and the OC corrected me and said no just one out. After the game I was praised for a job well done. Imo I was horrible[

I tell coaches in pre game that I will not tolerate any bulldog loudmouths coming at me. I tell you this almost 90% of the time they never pit bull any of my calls. Please let me know if it is my right to do this before the game.

In or league we allow a cr for the catcher only to speed up the game sorry 12 competive

you go moblue I often help players to correct mistakes after the play such as a catcher turning his head or an infielder not showing the glove. So far no complaints from coaches but at 12 u I feel I am just helping the kids learn

I don't think anyone from MLB will scoff at you at your next game. Wear your new mask with pride and screw anyone that says you shouldn't

O my suggestion I have learned from a legend when a catcher cant catch it I put my arms behind my back to protect my arms because I HAVE a real job and I cannot afford to miss work because of a broken arm. I strongly suggest staying in the slot.
