Why is it that EVERY announcer uses the WRONG terminology EVERY time this comes up??? Lol....he corrects himself afterwards but they always use the wrong term initially

Sorry....I meant R3...not the BR/Batter...I would have R3 for INT by either hindering F2 or being hit by a fair ball....that's just the way I would call it at this time...until I see a compelling argument otherwise....I like Wendy's strict interpretation that Maven mentions. And yes...That's where I would be going in this case...the "scored" runner having hindered F2s ability to make a play on the ball.

Ok...in that instance lets ask this question....if there were 2 outs as has been stated....and the BR interferes with the catchers ability to play the ball...and...if the catcher cleanly fields the ball and gets the out at any other base, then a force was made for the 3rd out and the run does not score.....so...the player really has NOT yet scored because the play is taking place and force outs still exist at all of the other bags....the play isn't complete/run doesn't score if the 3rd out is made on a force. Either way, I have either BR hit by ball in fair or I have BR INT...both of which make him out. Again...if I'm wrong please smack me down which is no doubt coming very shortly from Maven lol I guess my point is this...if there were 2 outs and the BR's action created a situation where F2 was no longer able to make a play on the ball (which would normally be playable) and could lead to the 3rd out....then I'm looking at INT...out #3...run does not score.

I would need to see this one...the defender can't force a runner off the bag...the visual of this is really needed to make a good decision.

I'm calling the BR out. He touched the Ball in fair territory A base is not a haven. This includes while he is standing on a base. The bases are in FAIR territory. If he is hit in fair territory, while on the base, before the ball has passed an infielder, he is out, except if he is hit by an infield-fly. A play is not immediately over when the player crosses home correct?? It's the runners duty to avoid a ball hit in fair territory...that includes at home plate. And to be clear....I'm fully prepared to be corrected and reprimanded lol.

The level of play this occurs at often times plays a large role in my determination of the IFF being enforced. 12U and under Rec LL...VERY rarely is there such a thing as "ordinary effort" when it comes to anything hit in the air that is not directly at a player...lol. Honestly though...at *that* level...if the ball is not going to fall within the infield cut area (meaning NOT in any grass covered ares....then it often times can cause trouble due to lack of communication ect with the younger kids. Anything falling between the mound or home plate and any other fielder is often times what I like to call the Bermuda Triangle for the younger rec level kids....and the likely hood of a dbl play coming from such a situation with those kids is pretty rare. Just my 2 cents....

If the player had been warned verbally the 1st time, I would have a polite conversation with the manager between innings the second time. 3rd time would be an official team warning. Now...if the catcher had been hit the 1st or 2nd time then things would accelerate one level. *Me* getting hit is one thing...the catcher getting hit..well..part of my job is to keep the players safe...and I take that seriously.

Yes...trust me...I was slightly going out on a limb with trying these out...but they have free returns so I wasn't too worried. That's why I listed my height and weight...you guys can adjust your size estimations on that. I would NOT suggest these to someone that is 6' and over say 255....that might feel a little TOO compressed. I will say that the length on these is also good....I have a long torso and short legs...and these are plenty long...so you could probably go up to 6'2" possibly 6'4" and still be able to use them. Again...their measurements are based on the actual measure of the fabric and dont take into account the stretch and compression. As a comparrison I typically wear a XXL or even sometimes XXXL top because I have large shoulders...These tops have a good fit in XXL on me...assuming you like some actual compression and not just a stretchy shirt that just lays against your skin. Durability is only something that I will find out over time....I will keep this thread updated with any specific observations. I got the Black/Navy/Gray multi-pack to get a feel for the colors...all pass that initial test...multiple washings will tell the tale on that if they fade. As far as sizing down goes....Like I said...I have a fairly long torso and my shoulders are fairly big....in a sport coat I wear anywhere from a 46-50 depending on the manufacture. The XXL shows a measurement of I believe 39-41.....and that gives me just enough compression feel for *me*. Not so much that I feel like I'm being squeezed...just enough to feel support.

I already have an F3 harness on hand to use as a replacement, but being that I will now have 2, P-200s, I'm thinking that getting in touch with Razzo would be wise to upgrade the other one as well I have ONLY read the highest praise for his product.
