Are you sure they didn't hit your plate shoes also? They hit you everywhere else!

Mine are a bit stiff, I'm guessing they work in after a few games and get a bit loose?

From what I understand they are pretty cool, the poly-wool pants are 80% polyester to 20% wool.

Just took the leap of faith and spent the money on both plate and base honors poly-wools. It stings a but right now but I'm sure when I have them 3,4,5 years from now it won't hurt so bad. Plus it's only a few game fees which can be made up quickly.

I couldn't really find anything about recommendations based on what pants. I'm going plate and base. But what are the advantages to poly wool over non, and what brands would be the "best" in your opinions? All input would be appreciated, not meaning to start any brand wars hear, just looking for options.

Douglas would be my recommendation. I'm 5'7 150 pounds and it fits me awesome, especially with a delta flex harness. Or as many have suggested trying the force 3 which I'm assuming would mold to your body with wear.

@tbuck18 So what is the issue? Do you need instructions on how to buy it for $70 less than $200? I can give them to you if you want. You will have the mask in one week. If you go to Rex's website Between the Lines, you can get the pads brand new for $40. That would bring your total to $170. You could also get the Spyder if you want as well. PM me if you want instructions. How much does the frame cost then if you can get the set up for 130?
