I was a plus pos everything umpire during my first stint 94-01 sul mask armor cp and armor shins. Now I have the zero gravity mask. Now I have Wilson platinum cp and shins. I would wear their shins. They are on sale now and look like the same type they used to sell. Plus pos was the big dawg in umpiring equipment back in the day. So no way you can compare them now to when they were on top.

Great answers from everybody! Keep them rolling in. I got the pro nine size medium cp only goes down 12 inches to do fast pitch paid $35 shipped. Seems like a good protector but I have to been wacked yet

NCAA clinic in January In Baltimore. What else would you suggest. I'm a HS head football coach so durin season is out of question for me. One clinic in GA in February that I know of. You make a great point!

I started in 94 at age of 16 umpiring we wore the light blue button up Elbeco shirts. Just wondering how many guys are left from this generation or are most of the guys used to wearing the polo shirts?

Work with a guy 73 years old. He wears the white football forearm pads that cover your hands and forearms. He has broke his arm before.
