  1. I won this pullover jacket. I wanted one of the black pullovers, but $100 (+$15) was just a bit steep for me. This was a steal for $30 plus shipping!
  2. "Preventative umpiring, BOOM."
  3. Yes, they send back the CP with their padding strapped in, and then your original padding that was on it when you sent it in.
  4. I've had both of those protectors in the past, again I recommend the Champion. Hardshell, way lower profile, better buy in my opinion. The Champro is very lightweight and breathable, but its bulky and looks funny under a shirt IMHO, and some shots can make you wish you had a hard shell piece on.
  5. Video of the play?
  6. what cp do you use? Sent from my BNTV400 using Tapatalk I have a Wilson West Vest Gold thats retrofitted through Team Wendy. I've had/seen/tried many chest protectors in the past. I had the Champion and highly recommend it. It's low profile, hard shell, fits well. Nothing really against the Wilson charcoal, but it is very bulky and can fit awkward sometimes, depending on body type.
  7. For a beginner, I would get the Champion over the Wilson Charcoal. As far as a mask goes, The Wilson Dynalite is a great mask all-around, and it has a good price for someone starting out. You could get TW pads for it, up to you, but the stock wilson pads work just fine for 10-14 ball. There is a broad range of sufficient shin guards out there too. Find gear in your price range and that you might like, then don't hesitate to come back to ask questions. Good luck.
  8. Such shocking news to us all. Whether we personally knew Mike or not, we are all apart of a fraternity and a brotherhood of umpires, and it is never easy to see one of us go. Rest in peace Mike Taylor.
  9. Don't you have a Nike now?.... oh the irony Yeah yeah, okay okay... That was when I had just joined. Hate you both Haha

  12. Let me make sure I'm clear, you wear a XXL Majestic shirt? If so, I would order the same size or bigger in the Honigs. The Honigs shirts are smaller and sized for the bases. It should fit you, but it might not be comfortable to wear a CP under.
  13. How much is more significant? Sent Via Telekinesis Side by side, the Majestic is probably twice as thick. I want to say the Majestic stripe is closest to a full 1cm, while the Honigs stripe is about 0.5 cm. Now as far as appearance goes, from afar in the stands or so, you can't really tell the difference. They still come out to look the same, just the Majestic has a thicker, brighter white stripe. (On a side note, I would say the OC mlb style shirt is right in between the two in the stripe widths, in case that gives a better example.)
  14. Colors match really well. The piping down the sides and sleeves is significantly smaller on the Honigs shirt however. The Honigs shirt is also way more stretchy, and fits a lot different than the Majestic. It could be a plate/base sizing difference, but the Honigs sleeves are shorter, and the Majestic runs bigger in size. Either way, both great shirts.
  15. Check some of these out. Some too expensive but there are a lot that might be in your price range, that are still good and big enough. Plus, free shipping, and it looks like that means even up to Alaska as far as I can tell. http://www.ebags.com/category/duffel-bags/b/netpack?origin=breadbox
