Just measured. 66" in the chest. My waist size will not be discussed here. Better to measure in feet these days. -

Yep they do seem to want to take with them things they did not want use when they were married to you. Hope most of them choke on it. -

Chief Rolo and MajorDave were asking if you might offer UE logo nutttybudies in extra small size? Don’t shoot the messenger as I am just passing on this request made by @JaxRolo and @Majordave. -

Definitely won't be a tell all. LOL! I know TUS monitors this site and I'm sure they won't have an issue with it. I hear what you are saying though, I don't want to and won't ruffle any feathers. Although I am no literary giant, I want to treat it with the same respect and insight as the book "As they See 'Em". I thought that book was a great read and good insight. My post won't be nearly as long. Just a brief synopsis of each days events. They know I'm not looking, nor would I be considered for a job. With that being said, I will respect their wishes on any privacy issues they may have. It's a long time for me to be away from home, so blogging is a way to keep connected with family and friends back home, and pass the time. Look forward to seeing your reports. HAVE FUN! -

Dont want to be a wet blanket BUT is TUS OK with this? @JonnyCat When I went to Evans LONG ago, before the internet, we were told " what happens in camp, stays in camp. If its OK this will be great! I have one on my young guys at Harrys and he states he is relearning plate mechanics.LOL! -
I expect 7-10 will "retire"

You must not be French.
-
@Majordave is correct. I fought next to some of them in the mountains and they are true warriors. The Polish solders are outstanding as well. The standard issue Afghans and Pakistani soldiers could not fight their way out of a 5 year olds birthday party. The Kurds are great and their women are as tough as nails on the battle field.
-
That's what you get for making cracks about the French and their ability to fight wars... If it was not for the French we would still be speaking english. @grozzly

While watching the “Third team†Ted Barret stated “ I tell guys before they go to umpire school, you got to get the player out of you†“If you are still like a baseball player or a big baseball fan you are not going to be a very good umpire†My wife was in her office and came running out and asked me “is this true?†She went on to state that I am always saying that people coming into umpiring NEED more than a few years IN the game before that can be a good umpire especially at higher levels. I still believe this BUT how do you out there feel about Ted’s statement of “You got to get the player out of you I told her I agree with Ted because when I walk on a field as an umpire I want to umpire, NOT play. I think Ted was saying that you must have a focus on umpiring NOT second guessing players and coaches BUT enjoying what you are doing, UMPIRING! Sound off please.

MidAMUmp is probably right. Most if not all coaches and players will never notice if your shoes are shined, your pants are pressed, your jersey is not wrinkled. BUT more people than you think will notice if you are poorly dressed or look disheveled. I ALWAYS look parade ground ready when I walk onto a field, 8u or D1. If I am doing more than one game that day I generally change shoes OR polish mine before I go to my next game. I NEVER walk on a field for game #1 without a quick shave from my electric razor if I have any shadow. That’s just me, FOR ME. I FEEL better that way with more confidence. I hammer our young guys on appearance and I am up their asses if they show up less than perfect. I am sponsoring one of our 4 year guys to pro school this year. He was selected the rookie of the year in one of the best associations in metro Atlanta and always looks great.

First impressions, walking on the field, mean a lot.

Mr Swabbie to you, dogface-LOL! Try it. Roll some polywools and a jersey. Pack them in a bag. Put them in your trunk. After 3 days take them out and see.

Roll your clothes then pack.
