Hello from Michigan

Hello everyone!

I'm 16 and have been umping rec league tee ball and softball for 3 years... I'm just starting this year with Little League (11u and 12u) and I am signing up for the MHSAA Legacy Program in the summer. I am looking forward to learning some from more expirienced umpires on this board. :)

That's my plan for now. As I gain more expirience, I'll become more involved.

Welcome to the board. Remember my advice, study until you feel you have a good grasp on a concept, then ask a quesion about to make sure you really do understand it. Many times guys think they understand something but are missing a portion, myself included, then they start enforcing things that aren't completely correct.

To the two above, I was born, raised, and reside in Waterford, MI (~hour north of Detroit)...

I umpire with the Waterford Little League (8u - 14u), and have worked in the past for Waterford Parks and Recreation.

I work for Northville Baseball/Softball Association NBSA. Their travel leagues run out of the Kensington Valley Baseball/ Softball Assoc ...KVBSA. I do u12 through u16 travel that plays OBR modified and some NFHS rules....small town stuff.

You're outta hear, and Jeff, ...let's stay in contact and see if we can hook up in a tournament this summer or maybe if you guys do some fall ball, that would be great!
